Club Meeting - Tuesday, October 14th
Our guest speaker was Mr. Phil Price, President and CEO, The Price Group, Inc. The Price groupstarted as a one-man shop in 1972 and is now one of the largest full-service advertising agencies in West Texas.

Phil is a graduate of the Taos School of Writing and has written four award-winning but “yet to be published” novels and eight successful stage plays including Heavenly Country which played at the Cactus Theater and the Pioneer Amphitheater in Palo Duro Canyon and Lone Star Rising” which ran for five summers at the national park amphitheater at Lake Meredith.

Phil’s adaptation of one of his sister, Jodi Thomas’ NYC & USA Bestselling novels, Widows of Wichita County is being prepared to go on stage next year. His screenplay of the same novel has been requested by a TV movie producer and is under consideration.

Author of Big Dreams & Broad Horizons, the 60-year history of American State Bank and currently completing a biography of T.J. Patterson, Lubbock’s first Black City Councilman.
