Joni Brown, Executive Director of Keep Victoria Beautiful, will speak to us about the Importance of Social Marketing.
What is social marketing and how is it valuable to my business or organization?  Social Marketing is the use of marketing principles and techniques to influence a target audience to voluntarily accept, reject, modify or abandon a behavior of the benefit of individuals, groups or society as a whole.  Whether the behavior is buying a new card or picking up litter, social marketing is the way to change the behavior of your audience.
